The "Hirschgarten" is the largest one in Munich. It is located in the west near the castle Nymphenburg. There is a large park area around it where you can see some deers.

You will always find free seats because there are almost 8000 of them. You will get the best beers here. This are the Augustiner and the Tegernseer beer. One of the most unusual things is that you can wash your "Maßkrug" and reuse it. If you have kids you can let them play in the park while you enjoy your beer.

 You can get there by exiting the S-Bahn at Laim and walk about 500m. The castle is about one kilometer by foot.
