“Ashmore Palms Holiday Village - the perfect family place to stay”

Ashmore Palms Holiday Village

Our family of four has just returned from a five night stay at Ashmore Palms Holiday Village. This was our first family holiday, for which we had been saving concertedly, and happily, we could not have picked a better place to stay.
The Village is the perfect family environment - a safe, secluded and beautiful rainforest setting with plenty of activities for our children (aged 7 and 10) including a choice of two swimming pools, tennis court, playgrounds, and daily scheduled activities such as sand art, face painting, games, and feeding of the spectacular variety of exotic birds.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly, professional staff who were extremely helpful and informative. They settled us in and assisted us in organizing and booking an itinerary that both included all our particular requests, and accommodated our personal budget . Consequently our family enjoyed a variety of theme parks, a day at Surfer's Paradise, and a trip to Stradbroke Island - all coordinated and book by the efficient, capable staff.
Our 6 person self-contained cabin was modern, spacious, well-appointed and clean. Indeed, it didn't take long for us to feel that we were 'home away from home'.
Ashmore Palms is the ideal base from which to explore the attractions of the Gold Coast, and you will get the full support of the knowledgeable and ever-helpful staff when planning and organising any activities you choose to do. - Michelle Payne.

We headed to Ashmore Palms Holiday Village - Gold Coast Queensland on the 15th June 2008 for our 5 night / 6 day stay. As 1st impressions are important we knew we were in for a wonderful holiday. This was from the look, feel & the helpful staff on arrival and true to that, our stay at Ashmore Palms surpassed all expections!

Ashmore Palms Holiday Village QLD is a great family friendly holiday destination for kids of all ages. Our girls aged 2 & 5 ½ yrs both loved the FREE Kids activities each morning & so did we! Some of the activities included Face painting, Sand Art, Crafts, Games, Singing & Dancing just to name a few.

The Village staff are all friendly & very helpful, the grounds are well maintained & very clean. Nothing was neither too small or a hassel for the team at Ashmore Palms. The accomadation was neat, tidy, clean & very comfortable. The Palm Cottage was well stocked with all the essentials needed for a family getaway, with a bit of home thrown in. The on premises shop was well stocked & well priced with all the goodies needed on a holiday!

We also beleive that Ashmore Palms is not only for families but would truley suit every traveller!

We had a Fantastic & Wonderful time. Highly Recommend & We Plan to definitely return to Ashmore Palms.

For a family getaway with that special something Ashmore Palms is top of our list, with the great service you get as you arrive, to the postcard in the mail a few days after you get home to make sure you enjoyed our stay.

Putting into words can’t express our Ashmore Palms fantastic expereince. You really must give this place a good hard look for an enjoyable family holiday.

We are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children aged 8, 7, 5 and 2. It is extremely difficult to find accommodation to cater for all of us without it costing a fortune for 2 hotel rooms so when we were planning a trip to the gold coast I went straight to trip advisor, I must confess I have become addicted. The number 1 place to stay came up with Ashmore Palms so I decided to investigate further. Initially, I was a bit concerned because we have never stayed in a holiday park before so I had no idea what to expect but we were so impressed.
We stayed in the Macaw Mansion which were easily in the best position right on the beautiful lagoon pools so the outlook was very nice with beautiful trees and the magnificent bird aviaries. We were here in WInter and one was heated so the kids could swim quite comfortably. You are about 15 minutes from the beach so a car is far more convenient but they do have shuttles to various locations if that,s what you,re after. The grounds are immaculate and the facilities are fantastic. There is a kids activity every morning between 8.30 and 9.30 such as sand art, face painting and even tennis lessons. A great start to the day. It is a fantastic base for a family holiday to the gold coast. We would definitely come back!

“Kids had a ball.”

Ashmore Palms Holiday Village

We have just travelled back to reality after 6 nights at this extremly family friendly holiday park. Every morning the kids were entertained by either the fantastic staff or THE AMAZING DAISY doing sand art, the most fabulous storytime I have ever experienced, craft or the unbelievable face painting.....and yes Daisy all day we got asked. The kids had a ball with all the entertainment, the pool, one of the two playgrounds ,the adventure walk around the entire park, multiple avaries with a huge selection of adorable birds or a game of tennis.
On our last day we didnt leave the park and there wasnt a moan or groan to be heard.

We have a child with multiple food allergies so eating out is not something we do regularly so catering for ourselves in the cabin was the way we went and this was made much easier with a very well supplied kitchen, including a good quality knife (which if you travel regularly you would know that dud knives are very common).

We were worried about the distance from the beach but it was a concern we didnt need to be worried about. They run a fab courtesy bus that runs trips to Surfers Paradise, Pacific fair and other destinations.
Very thoughtfully Run.

So all in all it was WONDERFULL ADVENTURE. THANKYOU TO ALL THE AMAZING STAFF.

“a holiday for the whole family”

After having stayed in different resorts in the Surfers paradise area Ashmore palms turned out to be what we had been searching for . We rented a macaw mansion which contained everything you needed from bathrobes for after your spa in the parents retreat upstairs to games that could be hired free of charge from the kiosk for a bit of a nightly challenge to the complementary newspaper delivered on a saturday morning to the never ending supply of clean towels . The children where in heaven with face painting , sand art , bird feeding and not to forget morning tea by the pool with Romeo and Juliet the splendid macaws. The rainforest walk was something we did every morning enjoying the noisy chats with the bird life . Ashmore palms also offers many different shuttlebus adventures one of our favourites was the friday night trip into Surfers to the market the street entertainment is fantastic.Last but not least the staff at Ashmore Plams couldn't have been any more friendly , helpfull and polite than they were to us WELL DONE you certainly made our holiday a great one for young and old
