We went to Prague for my wifes birthday for a few days and had a great time.
We were upgraded to a deluxe room without asking and given a voucher for 50% discount at the restaurant, that was very nice.
The hotel pick up from the airport was very prompt and courteous, not very chatty but maybe it is the language barrier and some people don't like to talk too much.
Excellent initial welcome at the front desk from Honza, and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for him, would recommend you ask for him if he is duty manager.
David the bellboy was very efficient and courteous with our luggage.
Anna who dealt with us for breakfast knew which room we were in very good attention to detail, and had a high chair all prepared for our young son travelling with us.
The mamngement had kindly left a bottle of champagne, fruit and chocolates for us in our room with a lovely note, with best wishes for my wife on her birthday, an excellent touch I thought.
Just a bit of a glitch with a couple of small things no spoons for the cereal at brakfast the first day and the server was a bit lost as to where to get them! We enquired whether it was possible to get a kettle to our room for hot water to prepare our sons food but were told it would be 10 euros/ day a bit steep I thought and considering we only wanted it to boil water, we decided against it but it was sent to our room by mistake, small things but it is important for a 5 star hotel as this to have impecable levels of service.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Prague and would consider staying here again if I visit.
Very handy location on the border of the Jewish quarter and the Old Town.
A tip if you need to stock up on general supplies there is a supermarket close by 100m or so called Alberts it is located underground and should have pretty much everything you need, as the staff they should be able to direct you.
