They made dreadful mistakes with our booking - a good job we phoned them before we arrived - they only had us down for 1 night rather than the 3 that had been paid for. OK looking hotel, modern rooms but very poor quality. Not at all practical and there was a glass sliding door (that had come out of its runners so just hung there and banged when you moved it) between the bedroom and the toilet. Everything else was just about OK. Because of the modern rotunda style of the hotel the bedroom windows were definitely not designed to look out of. They were extremely narrow and poky.
Location just about OK. Wouldn't want to be walking around there late at night though. Use a cab.
The package we had included F1 Grand Prix tickets and coach transfers. The hotel denied all knowledge of this and from that point on just lied to us. Once we proved the booking they told us they would be getting the tickets but that there was no coach transfer. We were then told to just turn up at the racetrack with our voucher (that would have been fun!!!) and they would let us in (no they wouldn't have and we would have spent over an hour and a half getting to the track). As the whole thing had been booked by El Corte Ingles department store, we decided to go there and they sorted it out. It became extremely apparent that if front of desk and the administrators behind the scenes don't know the answer to something, they just make it up. The tickets were at a sister hotel and there was a coach coming but they just didn't know about it. A very stressful time and a waste of one of our precious days trying to sort it out. Even without this problem the front of house are awkward and obstructive. Very poor customer service.
