This comfortable 3 star hotel is situated just off Las Ramblas in the heart of Barcelona. It is off the main street up a quiet avenue so is not noisy at night. The hotel is perfectly located near to the metro station and tourist bus attractions, as well as it being within walkig distance of many places of interest. It is only a short walk to the harbour of Port Vell which is perfect if you want to sit at a cafe/restaurant and enjoy the bustle of this city. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are perfectly air conditioned - much needed in the summer months! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food at breakfast is simple yet nice. Had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and on my return to Barcelona I would stay here again.

was worried by some reviews,but the square was nice few vagrants at any time but they kept to them selves always police near by no troble while we were there.the square i found attractive with two nice cafe bars and lovely trees.the hotel was very clean we overlooked the square very quiet at night and when bars were open balconi doors were sound proofed so heard nothing.the air con was superb best anywhere ive been too,room was big enough had huge bed ,good sized bathroom with bath and shower and was clean and plenty of towels changed daily.breakfast was mimimal of scrambled egg,two meats and cheese croisants or toast but you helped yourself plenty of fruit juice various teas and coffee.front desk helpful spoke good englishand smiley and made us welcome.we would go here again two mins walk from la ramblas.great stay in barcalona hotel fine would go back to same hotel as no problems at all.

Stayed here for 3 nights- Excellent situation just off Las Ramblas, not noisey- Very clean and tidy. Lovely feel to breakfast room which although quite modern has some nice old features felt very bright and airy.
Very basic breakfast though- no good if you enjoy a full fry up !!
Only shame was the square outside which had alot of 'down and outs' hanging around from early morning until late at night. Went as a couple and we were not too late home can imagine if part of a girlie group might be a bit intimidating going back to hotel on your own as apparently quite well known for mugging and pick pocketing. We had no problems but felt you did need to keep your wits about you, shame really as otherwise fab place to stay (better policing of the square might overcome the problem.)

i have stayed at this hotel twice. i took my mum there in 2007 and my boyfriend in 2008. on both occassions the hotel was excellent. the location is fantastic!. the staff are helpful, and the rooms are roomy for a city hotel and the bathroom was roomy and the shower very good. breakfast was a buffet style and fine, the coffee was awful though!.
