“Fab place to stay”

Butler's Town House

Mar 31, 2008

We stayed in Butlers for one night recently, It was very enjoyable and relaxing, a wonderful 4 poster bed with classy furniture. The bathroom was a good size with high quality bathrobes and towels. There was tea/coffee available free of charge and delivered by the reception staff, a lovely touch. The breakfast was wonderful, I had poached haddock and my husband had a full Irish, all served with a smile. The reception staff were polite and helpful, taking our luggage to the car and waving us goodbye. Overall, a great experience and recommended. Very good value for money, better than a chain or larger hotel.

“Loved Butlers!”

Butler's Town House

Nov 30, 2007

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Butlers Town House.
We had Atherom (I think!) and the room was a good size with a really comfortable 4 poster bed.

We were made to feel really welcome and the staff could not do enough for us.

The breakfast was fantastic - thoroughly enjoyed the full Irish. The only comment I have is that it is out of town a wee bit, but a taxi costs around EUR 10, you can use the DART or it is about a 20 minute walk.

All in all - we enjoyed our stay at Butlers!

this place is nice right next to Lansdown rd stadium and near Shelbourne park dog track
clean rooms lovelly full irish breakfast bacon, egg, sausage, beans toms, mushrooms, black and white pudding, cereals and as much toast as you want
not really in center but taxi rank just along street only problem with Dublin is getting a cab in the early hours, great place though, ideal to impress your lady .if your on stag/hen weekends you may be better off nearer Temple Bar areaa
but you wont find such nice rooms for sure

“Fantastic 4 poster beds!”

Butler's Town House

Nov 16, 2007

We booked this hotel as a replacement to our original honeymoon plans and we were not disappointed. Even though we arrived on the very early flight from London, the hotel welcomed us with tea and toast and our room was available as soon as possible. The room was lovely, the 4 poster bed was spectacular and all in all the hotel was perfect for our 5 day stay.

The only down side for some may be the 25 minute walk in to the town centre but in return you get a hotel that is quieter and also better value for money than the hotels in centre of Dublin.

The breakfast was great with plenty of choice of both hot and cold options. My husband loved the eggs benedict.

Celia, the manager, even arranged a bottle of sparkly for our room as she knew we were on our honeymoon.

“Wonderful stay”

Butler's Town House

Was booked into this hotel by the company hosting my speaking event so knew nothing about it. Had a great experience. The manager Suzanne personally met me and made me feel very welcome and her staff really helped me out with some small tasks I needed done like printing. The lounge area (the original reception room of what is a historic house) was lovely and nicely decorated, and my room was large, almost like a suite with two extra armchairs and bookshelves, and a big luxurious bed. Breakfast was excellent, with traditional Irish bread, cheese and other nice things. Overall: delightful, especially compared to staying in an anonymous large hotel.
