I booked a single room for 6 nights in January 2008. The hotel was conviently located within easy walking distance of the busy Ginza Metro Station (exit A13). The staff at reception spoke very good english and made every effort to answer any questions or help with any requests that I had during my stay.
The single rooms are small but well appointed. The bed was firm and supportive. The writing desk includes a desktop ethernet port (no wi-fi) and access to the internet was free of charge. The mini-bar is stocked with plenty of beverages; water, juice, beer, soda all at reasonable prices (around $2 US for a can of coca-cola). The flat panel television shows 5-6 channels, all in Japanese. There is ample reading light in the room, including large windows letting in plenty of daylight. Despite being a block off the main street running through Ginza the hotel was perfectly quiet - no street noise or construction noise could be heard. The bathroom has all the modern cons; high-tech toilet, deep sink, and full size tub/shower. Housekeeping brought fresh towels, yukata robe, and sheets daily. The entire hotel property was spotless.
I didn't eat in the hotel as meals we're expensive $20 US for breakfast/$60 US for diner. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the surrounding neighborhood.
As a single traveler in their 30s I would recommend this hotel to friends. I'd also stay here again without hesitation the next time I visit Tokyo.
