We just returned from an 8-night stay at the Wailea Beach Marriott. And I want to go back!!! We booked an Ocean Front King Room on Expedia and got room 4618 which overlooked the ocean & the adult-only pool. GREAT VIEW! The room was spacious, and the bed was AMAZING. It was super soft and cozy. The bathroom was well-laid... more

We went to Wailea Beach Marriott Resort for our delayed honeymoon and we had the best time ever. Location, Rooms, View, Pool, Beach, Free Mai-Tais (included in daily hotel fee) were perfect. Given how amazing the hotel was, it was really hard to leave the hotel to go explore the Maui island but we did manage to drag ourselves. I'd... more

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott in early September as part of a delayed honeymoon. We actually booked our two nights through Priceline the day before arrival and landed a great rate for the Wailea area. Although not as extravagant as the neighboring resorts, we had a wonderful stay - wished we could have stayed an extra night!... more

We stayed at the Marriott Resort and Spa in Wailea in July '07. At this point they were still in the process of renovating eventhough we had called ahead to make sure they were done..grrr. We returned to Wailea in Jan '08 (stayed somewhere else) and they were still renovating so it seems it is going slowly. Besides the renovating... more

Stayed here on points for a few nights before moving on to other Islands. Had requested Ocean View room, and the ocean was visible if you leaned out from one of the far corners of the balcony. Paid another 5k points/nt for an unobstructed ocean view, and was well worth-it. When I asked to change to upgrade myself further, desk... more

We elected to stay 6 days, longer than our convention. Our room was situated on 4th floor, corner next to the maintenance dept,(no view once so ever there) They appear to run a 24 hr.shift. One could hear chatter and machinery at all hrs. We never had one good nights rest.Complained to Gary, concierge, waited for Customer Service Rep. to... more

My husband and I spent five nights at the Marriott Wailea for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time! We booked hotel & rental car thru AAA (Pleasant Holidays). We did not attend the Pleasant Holidays breakfast b/c we ended up booking activities on our own and got great recommendations from the activities desk. We both agreed that Wailea is... more

We purchased a package from Pleasant Holidays and several items, such as an room upgrade, were promised and not delivered when we reached the hotel. We called Pleasant Holiday and AAA for assistance, but they were indifferent to the situation and shifted blame to the hotel. more

We stayed at the picturesque Marriott for the second leg of our honeymoon. This could have been a perfect trip, but, and this is a huge BUT, the Marriott nearly ruined our whole trip with their nickel and dime hotel philosophy before we were even in our room. When I got to the front desk, with my new bride by... more
