For our group of 7, we rented a 1 BR and a 2 BR through Destination Resorts. In order to guarantee specific units, we paid more than $600 to avoid the "Ekahi Lottery." However, we had certain requirments and wanted to stay at this location, and in specific units so we paid. The 1 BR unit was fantastic - great... more

Our condo was absolutely perfect. We had stayed at the Maui Prince previously but Ekahi Village offers so much more. The grounds of the complex are beautiful. The pool stays open late so we often had it to ourselves. (It got dark around 6:30 and the pool is lighted and stays open until 10:00 p.m.) The close proximity to Kihei... more

After past stays at Grand Champions, we booked Ekahi this year through vrbo, so that we could walk to the beach. Pros: unit was comfortable enough (this depends more on the individual owner than anything). Complex is immaculately maintained with easy parking. Beachside pool complex offers more of a resort hotel feeling and experience than the pools at Grand Champions.... more

The warm and inviting welcome at the front desk check-in set the pace for what was to come. Upon entering the condo unit #7B, the welcome continued. Lights were on, air-conditioning made the unit cool and inviting. The large tile entry opened to a gracious fully furnished living room and dining room with a sparkling chandelier. An entertainment center included... more

We rented 19C with the owner's directly. They also gave us a discount when we asked them. The condo was wonderful. No ocean view but beautiful lanai and a short walk to a wonderful beach that was very quiet and private. The kids loved the pool near the beach and we had a great time bbq'ing one night and just... more

We stayed in an older condo, but found it to be clean and comfortable. The best part about it was the location which was down closest to the beach and w/o any condos in front of us, the lanai was very private with our own grass with flowering bushes making it so we could go out in the morning in... more

We just returned from a 6 night stay at Ekahi Village in unit 44D. Our accomodations were just okay with positives and negatives. First the negatives: 1) Advertising this unit as an "ocean view". Yes, you can see the ocean fairly well if you stand in the kitchen; however, if your sitting on the lanai, you can maybe see a... more

My husband and I stayed at Ekahi Village 34D for 2 weeks during June-July 2007 for our honeymoon. It is an absolutely beautiful condo, and 34D is amazingly kept. The suite itself was clean, tastefully furnished, and had the most gorgeous view of the grounds and ocean beyond. I never got tired of waking up to the sight of Molokini... more

I've stayed at the Ekahi 4 different times in 4 different units, and it was pleasant each time. The first trip we booked through Destination Resorts. We had a lovely 1 bedroom unit shared with my IL's and there was plenty of room for 4 adults. DR was pleasant to deal with, maid service was prompt and efficient, and I... more

Beware this unit is not safe! None of the furniture is safe. eg the couch, living room chair, the diningroom chairs, the kitchen cabinets are all broken. The electrIcal wiring questionable. It is the filthest, noisest condo we have ever rented. The carpets are so filthy our feet got dirty walking in the unit, the bathroom etc disgusting! We experienced... more
