This place is amazing! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. We booked on the website last minute and got a great rate. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The Avenue Garden Hotel is not for everyone but if you are comfortable with some compromises, it's a good value. This hotel has a new owner and she is doing a great job of upgrading the facilities. She is gracious and has great southern hospitality and charm about her. It is a great place for people who like to see New Orleans away from French Quarters. Great restaurants next door. more
