We had one night at the Rittenhouse B+B following a week in Philadelphia (based mainly in the Loews, see separate review). We found the B+B to be pleasant enough. We were only there 1 night and in a standard room on the ground floor with obscured windows, so not much natural light. The room itself was nicely decorated and clean... more

We just returned from an enjoyable 2-night stay at the Rittenhouse 1715. As you can read in our other reviews, we can be quite demanding, but the 1715 met many of our expectations and even added some impressive touches. It ranks among some of the better places we've stayed. This charming boutique hotel has a European feel, is very clean,... more

Last minute decision to go to Philadelphia for a weekend to experience the city and good restaurants. I stumbled on this hotel while researching the Rittenhouse Square area. I loved it! Fabulous place, so clean, staff so nice and the location is the best. I booked for October before I left as it is difficult to get availability on the... more

We paid $ 299 excl tax and ended up in room 310. Upon arrival we're somewhat disappointed with the location of the hotel; the photo's of the outside give you the impression that the hotel is located on a square while in reality it is tucked between buildings in a very narrow street. We had to double park to check-in... more

When I booked this trip I thought I was staying at the Rittenhouse Hotel, but was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this boutique hotel. Service was great; recommended a great restaurant located steps away from the hotel. Breakfast was beautiful as was every aspect of the hotel. Lots of attention to detail in the hotel and the service. Beds... more

More and more I am choosing to stay at small hotels for better service and attention to detail, and the Rittenhouse 1715 did not dissappoint. The staff at the front desk were helpful, especially Sean (sp?) who was welcoming, and made sure that I had all I needed upon arrival. Michael was also helpful in answering any questions I had,... more

We stayed at the Rittenhouse 1750 B & B not to be confused with the Rittenhouse which is a multi story hotel. The staff was friendly and did everything to make you feel at home. There was always cookies available and at 5:00 there was wine with nuts where the guests got together to discuss their day. We lived in... more

The hotel is a small inn right off of Rittenhouse square. The location is excellent, and the accommodations were quaint and historic, yet with modern touches like flat panel TVs, internet access and marble baths. Good: Location, decor, afternoon wine service, comfortable bed. Bad: Service (check-in and check-out). Parking is a challenge, as with anywhere in the city. We stayed... more

This boutique hotel located steps away from Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia was a wonderful surprise. While my room was small, I did NOT feel cramped. I was thrilled to see a large flat panel LCD television in the room. The room was furnished tastefully with the expected amenities in the bathroom. There was free (to guests) Wi-Fi internet (but no... more
