We stayed at La Quinta Inn San Diego (Old Town) for three nights and had a very good experience. The hotel is practically across the street from the airport, but we could not hear it. We found everything to be in order, with particularly comfortable beds. The hotel is only a few easily walkable blocks from Old Town where we... more

We booked this hotel because we had a great experience here last summer and they did not let us down. Friendly, helpful staff, great FREE breakfast, in-room coffee. Walk to Old Town, 2 miles from Sea World. Sparkling pool, immaculate room, comfortable bed. We will always stay here when we go to San Diego! more

We got to the hotel in the evening and found it easily. It is right off the highway. The area is pretty isolated from the rest of the city being that it's very near the airport. The street that it's on is pretty dark and there are no mini-marts within walking distance. I don't think that it was dangerous, just... more

We have just returned from this hotel. We were there for July 4th weekend with 2 small kids. Location wise, this hotel is probably perfect. About 10 minutes walk to the Old Town restaurants and shops and the Trolley. Hotel was ok. Room was as requested, 2 double beds. Clean, ok size for 4. Could have used a bit more... more

The "La Quinta Inn Old Town" offers a good value, if you are able to walk about 15 min. to public tarnsport. But them you can go to every Spot in the Area. They have a nice pool, mostly not very crowded, because many guests only stay for a stopover. Close to the bars and restaurants of "Old Town", the... more

Stayed at the La Quinta Old Town for 3 nights. We arrived late and I was a little concerned that we were staying in a somewhat seedy place. It was very quiet and it did not look that great. Smelled a little funky too. They do need to address the odor whatever it is. I think it is cleaning product?... more

i was touring California last summer for a month and needed a reasonable place to stay in San Diego. I found La quinta thanks to tripadvisor forum and was pleased with the booking. I stayed a couple of nights at La Quinta Old Town in San Diego. It was only a short walk to the old town which is lovely.... more

We were in town visiting family and we needed a place big enough for all the baby stuff we have to bring with us. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable with nice sheets. They might be in the process of changing out the towels because some were soft and fluffy and some were the usual sandpaper... more

I stayed at this location on business and found it to be great. Easy access onto Interstate 5 and and airport. The hotel and room were clean and quaint. Parking was free (though the underground slots were small) but I always found a place to park. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of options on the continental breakfast. Nice pool and... more

I choose this hotel because it was advertised as "100%" Smokefree. Yes,all the rooms are non-smoking, but the doorway of your room maybe a designate"smoke area" by where the ashtray/trash bins are placed. To make things worse, at 10 pm.,I heard talking, only to find a smoker leaning on my door with a cell phone in hand, dragging on a... more
