**** DO NOT USE FOR EXTENDED STAY **** Stayed in a King Bedroom My Fiance and I stayed for four nights and got sick. She left with a pretty bad headache and really congested. Negatives: The Air conditioner had mold or something inside of it because it blew dust and gave a musty smell. 2 out of the 3 lamps... more

if you're looking for a modest hotel this is not it! This is an extremely low budget hotel way off the beaten track of the local beaches. it is actually closer to El Cajon and SDSU off of 8 East. The rooms are musty and the furshings are outdated. We had 2 rooms, a double and a king. The double... more

We stayed one night at this hotel and chose it just because we needed an inexpensive place to sleep before continuing our trip. We arrived at 11pm and had a little trouble finding a parking space in the full lot, but eventually found a space. Our room was nice- very clean, spacious and updated. There was tons of storage space... more

I found this one in a travel coupon book. It was miles out of our way to begin with, and there are no restaurants, other services close by. We walked in to the dingy lobby to behold the breakfast area-basically a counter with some saggy leather couches for seating. We got the keys to the room and went up the... more

OK, my boyfriend booked the reservation thru Days Inn without reading any reviews first. Once he read the reviews he cancelled the reservation 7 days before our arrival. We received a cancellation notice confirming the cancellation. We were STILL charged for the reservations! six days after the cancellation!!! I called to speak to the manager to rectify and reverse the... more

I read the review from golfgirl and echo her sentiments exactly. The room I walked into smelled like animals had been living in it for an extended stay. I immediately changed rooms to a slightly less noxious but still very smelly room. Everything about this place was bad. I also stayed there only for its nexus to the U.S. Open... more

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. First, the sidewalks and hallways were gross and dirty, looked like they had never been cleaned. This hotel boasted "suites" and every room had a kitchen. Too bad the cleaning staff didn't do a very good job. There was rotting food in the disposals, it smelled so bad we ended up putting a wet washcloth... more

Externally very unattractive, with poor room access due to few stairs and elevator being poorly located. Clientele had a bit of a shady look, with a lot of open doors and partying going on. The room itself was better than the exterior, as a full kitchenette was provided in my 2 Queen suite. However, maintenance was not up to par... more

When I read some of the bad reviews on this hotel, I thought that people were being too picky. They were right. I would recommend that you stay away from this hotel. It is in a poor location right on the freeway and away from everything. The first room we were in smelled horrible. We moved to another room the... more

LOCATION The hotel is not close to anything, so you must have a car. Easy access to I-8 will get you everywhere in the city. PARKING Ample free parking. DESK/CHECK-IN The staff is efficient and friendly. Our reservation, made on the Day's Inn website, was correct on price and room type. ROOM Described as a suite, it is a reasonable... more
