loved the bed--super comfortable (we actually over-slept for father's day brunch....ooops!) the room was clearly newly furnished, but furniture is this bizarre looking traditional style but with asian hardware to make it look contemporary. i am in the design business so am super attentive to that, but my husband agreed....odd. also, in room refrigerator has a large scrolling digital screen... more

I was in town for a conference at the Taj, but I had stayed here at the Doubletree before, and knew it was fairly close by and about half the price of the Taj. I'm not sure what you get at the Taj for the extra $200 per night, but I was happy to stay here and walk 15 minutes... more

While looking for a place to stay in Boston on business, I needed to find a place close to downtown but at a reasonable price. It was college graduation week in town so most of the hotels were packed. I wanted to stay within the Hilton brand because I am part of their rewards program. I ended up at the... more

With the exception of the staff who assisted us with the valet parking, the employees were unpleasant and rude. The non-smoking room smelled as though it had recently been converted from a smoking room and that some effort had been made to mask the smoke. The room was small, though clean. I would not stay here again! more

My daughter and I stayed at the Doubletree over Mother's day weekend. Booked thru Hilton Honors Website for 209.00/night. Good price for Boston--loved the fact the "T' is literally 150 ft. from the hotel door. Room was clean, comfy bed and pillows. Buffet Breakfast was fine as was room service for am dining. Staff was helpful. Will definitely stay there... more

I booked this on Priceline and got it for about $80-90 per night for three nights at the beginning of May. I really like the location, it is right next to a major hospital and right next to a T-stop (metro stop.) But we could walk all the way to the freedom trail and beacon hill district, although it is... more

I must admit I do not usually book at Doubletrees because I find them to be highly inconsistent. This property was a very pleasant surprise. Got a great rate on Priceline. The hotel has been completely renovated in a very "asian-chic" style. Friendly reception by the doorman and front desk. Nice bar in the lobby which was well-patronized. Good location,... more

We have stayed here a number of times while visiting Boston for business and pleasure. The hotel has been renovated and is centrally located near the Theatre District and Tufts Medical Center. It is a 15 minute of so walk to Faneuil Hall and a block or less from the T station. You even get a Doubletree Chocolate Chip cookie.... more

Enough about the "scary" location of this hotel. Just remember, you are in a city, and like every city, one must be aware. The Doubletree was a great stay this past weekend. We checked in around noon and received our yummy cookies. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the hospital. (For the record, we heard only 1... more

I stayed in this hotel in Oct 07 with my Dad and 19 month old daughter. We found it a great hotel we had read bad reviews about location etc but this is far from the truth- 5 min walk to down town and the T station practically in the car park of hotel. We never once felt in danger... more
