The Emmantina Hotel is located about 45 minutes to the south of Athens airport on the coastal highway that runs to Piraeus. We arrived after midnight and were assigned a room with a nonsmoking room in the middle of the hotel's smoking section. The result was that the place reeked of smoke due to the nature of the hotel's ventilation... more

This hotel offers free airport pick up which was a plus in our book. We had to call the hotel three times to tell them about airport delays out of Rome. We arrived in Athens at 7:00pm and the shuttle was waiting for us. After checking into the hotel, the desk clerk asked what our plans were the next day.... more

The people who sit at reception are rude. So you are for a small shock initially. If you are staying for more days, get used to the exactly the same breakfast and the very limited spread. Otherwise the room service was friendly, the room were small but clean and the bathrooms were also clean. (the bath tub is good for... more

Good hotel, clean, good bathroom, although may be a little outdated. Great location, close to tram to get to central Athens other areas on the coast, and to shopping centres, only 5 minutes walk from pebble beach and 10mins from cafes and restaurants. more

I stayed at this hotel for a week while attending a conference in Glyfada. The hotel rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. There is a busy street between the hotel and the beach, but the double sliding doors effectively cut out any noise when I wanted to sleep. There is a charge for the internet but it worked well. The... more

My time at the Emmantina was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I had no trouble speaking English with anyone. The rooftop garden and bar is quite pleasant. The room was clean and functional, equipped with television and a desk/workstation. Despite the nearby highway, I found that the double sliding-glass doors kept out the noise quite effectively. The... more

We stayed at the Emmantina in Glyfada for a couple of nights before Greek Easter this year, and we were very happy with the quality of the accommodation, the service, and the food, as well as the location. We were in Athens in transit between London and Corfu, and we mainly wanted to stay somewhere that was more relaxing than... more

The rooms at the Emmantina are small and the staff was extremely rude. The man at the front desk spent 5 minutes ignoring me while talking to a courier about personnel stories. Not much else to say, you have been warned. Small and Rude. more

We did not pay serious attention to one of the previous reviews here and we certainly suffered the consequences. The hotel is located directly infront of a very busy highway with cars and bikes speeding away all day and even very late at night. The day time staff were very helpful but the night time staff were extremely cold and... more
