Nice 3 star hotel a mile from Opryland Hotel. Several eating places in area. Friendly, Helpful staff. Suite type room with couch, desk, coffee corner vanity, small frig as you walk in. Then, walk thru a passage past the 42" flat screen HD tv and see the bed(s), closet, long vanity with sink, commode/shower bathroom. Well decorated and everything in... more

We stayed here for 5 nights on our trip round Tennessee. Check in was busy - the staff were always helpful, but really had too much to do with trying to run Reception and the coffee bar. Our room was lovely - just like the pictures on their website. It was large and bright with a kitchen area, large plasma... more

We stayed at the Hyatt Place Opryland for the Duke/Vanderbilt football game (final score: Duke 10 - Vandy 7). The hotel is really quite nice when one considers the relative costs involved. A few weeks prior to this visit to Nashville, we stayed at the Gaylord Opryland. My wife mentioned more than once that she liked the room and hotel... more

My wife and I upon arrival had prompt and friendly service at check in. I had ordered through Expedia at a very nice rate. Our room was on the second floor over the pool (did not even go to it) didn't hear any one either. We loved the room layout with the semi seperate contemporary style. Our room was very... more

It was my job to plan a family reunion in Nashville for 60+ people! We wanted to stay on a budget but still get the job done. The staff was wonderful helping us get everything in order. We were able to have use of a conference room for under $100 and the breakfast nook was perfect. I am a huge... more

I immediately liked the decor and clean smell of the lobby. It was very fairly priced. The staff was nice. The carpets were all very clean. The room was awesome, very clean, and very large. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the free continental breakfast and the fact that the internet was wireless throughout the hotel. more

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Opryland for a conference that was located at the Gaylord. I would discribe the stay as average. The rooms had a nice layout/design. We stayed a total of three nights. The first day..the shower was cold...however the next couple of days hot water was available. Fitness center has the basics. Pool is outdoors... more

There are plusses and minuses to this hotel depending on what you are looking for. I feel I got a fair price for what they have to offer at $99 per night. I wouldn't pay much more than that. Plusses: Good location. Easy to get to anywhere in the Nashville area. Ample room with a separate sitting area, wet bar,... more

Stayed at the Hyatt Place in March 08 and July 08 while driving to Florida with the older two kids. This is in a great location, Opry Mills Mall is close by, and the Opryland Hotel and Grand Ole Opry are right there, too. The rooms were so comfortable we didn't want to leave. There was lots of room, and... more

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Hyatt. The 1st time last year was a great expirence. This time however we got to our room and settled in to take showers, and had luke warm water. Called the front desk, and they said it was strange, and to give it a couple of hours..That it was maybe... more
