My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Charleston. We stayed 3 nights at the Ansonborough Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. nice location and two huge rooms....clean and nice decorations......but the three towels provided were thin and ragged. Could hear what the people in the next rooms were saying.... awful noise from the roof airconditioner turning off and on all night. Did the owners ever try to sleep here ?? more

Great location & gorgeous inn. Staff was average in their helpfulness & attitude. The maid service did not clean our room while we were there - had to ask for clean towels. However, we would stay again due to room size, affordability, & convenience. more
