We stayed here for 6 nights in August and had a fantastic time. Except for the last couple of days being a little rainy and wet, we were very happy with the hotel. Being priority club members, we had to check in on the 29th floor and were upgraded to a nice spacious room with bay view on the 17th... more

We all got Pseudomona a water born staff infection caused by poorly maintained hot tubs. It causes large painful sores all over the body. The hotel staff was very nice until the illness erupted and then they were horrible. The money we spent in medical bills made the trip very expensive. They charge you to use the fitness center which... more

I worked with the hotel's group reservation department to book a number of rooms for a group taking a cruise. I secured an excellent rate, making this hotel a no-brainer choice for our stay. We were not disappointed. I arrived at nearly midnight. It is a $25 or so cab faire from MIA. The bellmen wisked away my luggage and... more

Hotel is great - nice view, beautifully appointed rooms BUT beware - do not touch anything in the fridge as the items are electronically monitored and if you so much as lift something up for more than 30 seconds, even if you did not consume it, it will go into your bill. You will not be able to use the... more

One of my collegues spoke to Enrique to request to have an international newspaper to be printed in advance and have it readily available at the front desk for me. I made this small request in advance because I know that it takes a good twenty minutes for this special newspaper to print; and I couldn't be late to work.... more

Was here for a conference that was split between the main convention center and opera house/hall that collectively comprise the Arsht Center (previously known as the Carnival Center). The hotel's location is probably the best location of any hotel downtown. Across the street from a Metromover station, right on the waterfront (with wonderful views of Biscayne Bay), 5-minute walk to... more

This hotel is quite expensive. I was travelling on business, the hotel is luxury and well located, this is ok. However the remaining it does not worth the high prices. The service is just regular, the vallet price (if you rent a car) is out of this world - too expensive, the breakfast too. Even if you travel on business,... more

Won't repeat the many good reviews of the overall conference/business aspects of the Intercontinental, but a few things were minor but consistent hassles throughout a recent five-day stay: 1) The Internet access is painfully slow, buggy, and unreliable, with webpages sometimes taking three or four refresh attempts in order to load at all. Would be fine at a Motel 6... more

I got my room for $128 on Hotwire. I LOVED this hotel! We stayed there one night, during a 3 night Memorial Weekend stay with the other two nights being in SoBE. I loved loved loved this hotel! I wish we could've stayed there the entire time. Check in was painless. There was no line and no hassles at the... more

The hotel is very clean. I stayed for a conference. The pool area is nice, not quite big enough. The beach is a 15.00 cab ride away so realize that this hotel is in the city. The plus side is the bayside market. more
