We stayed at the Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale for one night before our Island Princess Panama Canal cruise. We were with friends taking the cruise with us. We had two suites on the twelfth floor overlooking Port Everglades. The hotel was beautiful and in an excellent location. Our room was very nicely furnished, and quite comfortable. We ate dinner at... more

Actually staying here as I write this and will be here two more nights. It's a beautiful hotel with great staff, lovely pool area and many restaurants, etc. within walking distance. I would highly recommend the ES. Walk the few blocks to Southport Raw Bar for a casual, inexpensive dinner while you're in the area. more

We had a great experience from start to finish. We booked our room online through the hotel website. We pre-paid for our room and this meant a decreased internet rate. Our flight from LA arrived at noon, we were at the hotel at 1:00 PM. The hotel staff promptly checked us in and gave us high floor, king, non-smoking room... more

My husband and I stayed for one night prior to a cruise. This was a perfect spot in Fort Lauderdale. We took a taxi from Ft. Lauderdale airport. It is only about 10 minute and about $12 cab ride. (none of the hotels I looked at had airport shuttles, but it's so close, no big deal.) Check in was very... more

I stay at this hotel several nights per month as a business traveler. The rooms are wonderful as most Embassy Suites are, and the atrium is one of my favorites. The pool area is one of the nicest I have ever seen at a hotel, and the food is great in the morning (as is the manager's happy hour every... more

I was there with several partners in January of 2008 to help start a business, and my experience was terrible. When our plane landed, after midnight, I expected a shuttle or a limo to be waiting on us, there wasn't. I actually had to call the hotel and ask to be picked up, but it turns out that they don't... more

This is an extremely beautiful property. I have stayed in many hotels and am not easily impressed. It is so tropical and lovely from the interior to the immense gated pool area where you will find rocks, waterfall., and other water features. The bedding was so comfortable that I am going to have to try and aquire some of the... more

I was expecting more from 3 1/2 stars. The lobby was nice as was our room. The building looked old from the inside. Travelling with 3 teens, the breakfast was important, but was disappointed with it. Food was tasteless. Not that it was a bad experience, just that there are many other choices around there! more

Recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale - it was a great value compared to everything else nearby that was available. Room was clean & spacious (a tad smaller than some other Embassy Suites I've stayed at, but still plenty large). We had an awful view of some oil storage tanks, but that didn't really matter to us.... more

My husband and I and 2 teenage kids had a wonderful 2 days here at the end of our holiday. The hotel looks modern from the outside but is traditionally decorated inside. The suites have good sized rooms with plenty space for storing luggage (we had 6 suitcases and golf clubs) and are complete with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, large... more
