The hotel is an average three star. Service is very good. The rooms and facilities are a little bit worn out. if the hotel rates were more reasonable, I would have been happy with my choice. The problem is that this hotel offers three star accommodations and charges four star prices. more

Very nice high end hotel in beautiful historic building in Coral Gables. I admit I don't know much about Coral Gables and I read the short history in one of the books placed in the hotel room. There is fabulous history in this area and the buildings to prove it -- a rarity in Florida. The room was fabulous, as... more

We got this hotel for a steal through Priceline so we really can't complain about the 16 dollars per night parking fee. Miracle Mile is on the hotel doorstep but I can't think why you would want to shop here unless you were looking for a wedding dress. The hotel is older but well maintained and has a very pleasant... more

We live in Sarasota but we love Miami. We always stay at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables; we visit at least once a month. This hotel has many advantages - it is on a quiet road so you don't get road noise, it is smaller than many hotels so you are not with a bunch of noisy tourists, it... more

Loved my experience at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. Upon arriving at the hotel, the service started at the entrance at the hotel. Was greeted professionally and friendly by the staff, which extended the front desk. Checking in was fast and efficient and was given coupons for the restaurant as I headed to my room. The room size was average,... more

I stayed for two nights on a weekend trip to see an old friend who lives in the area. Self parking was convenient, but the parking garage is VERY dank, with dripping water (from the pool above, maybe?) and very tight spaces for my larger sedan. Also, there weren't many spaces for self parking - I had to park once... more

This was our third Hyatt hotel as we were touring through Florida and was the only one we were disappointed with. Don't get me wrong, the room was okay but compared to the other two it was plain and basic. It did not have the nice finishing touches like little bedmats and matching cushions that even cheap hotels now have.... more

Check-in was uncomplicated, unsnooty, and pleasant. They accommodate both valet parking with bell hop assistance, or self-park and tote your own luggage. The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables is a classic older hotel with a grand lobby. Our room was larger than average, with room for a couch, two chairs and a desk. The bath had a generous amount of space,... more

I stayed at the Hyatt for a wedding. It was a close enough drive to southbeach daily yet close enough so I didn't need to drive after the wedding. The hotel is standard Hyatt. I had a room on the 5th floor - which is the pool level. The bathroom is ok, the room is normal size. It is not... more
