We only booked one evening here to be able to visit Pier 60. We booked a Kingsize room with balcony and paid extra for a sea view. This was where the problem started. Our room was at the back of the hotel and when we realised we went back down to reception without going into the room. They told us it wasa Bay... more

The one good thing was their private beach. Nice. But from there, terrible. The "heated" pool was not heated. The "cabana service" was non-existent and the service staff [---] if you asked them to bring a drink to you on the beach (a service they supposedly offer). The room was filthy and a porno mag actually fell out from behind... more

I have never been to Clearwater Beach before and I wanted to find a hotel that has direct access to the beach. This hotel has it own private beach where you can relax .The room I stayed in was very nice and clean and the view from it was amazing. The front desk personnel was very helpful and knowledgeable. What... more

Our stay here was a bit of a disappointment. We had an ocean view room but to have a patio was $20 extra! To sit on the" beach" was $7 a chair! Our room had peeling paint and mold around the windows. The hotel is really on the intercoastal not the gulf. more

This hotel was the second worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! I am a travel agent, and BW is our main partnership, so I stay there consistantly. So I do not take this lightly. All of the other reviews were right on par. For starters, the "beach" is the bay. There are no waves. Hallways smell... more

First of all, they add $10 a day that is not in your rate just to use the anemities, listed as pool chairs, wifi. They hit you with this when you are there. Also, they have a private beach, and want to charge $7.00 a day to use each lounge chair, on top of the $10. They have signs posted,... more

This Place is depressing. Stayed 9/6-9/9 2008. Rooms haven't been updated in years. Carpets in Elevtaors STINK like urine. Beach is actually facing Clearwater harbor entrance, not the Gulf, as they would have you believe in the brochure photos. Many power boaters anchor just off the hotel property using the harbor as a latrine. AAA rates this property 3 star;... more

We had stayed there with the kids, the kids loved it.. I on the other hand hated it. The beds are terrible. There are not enough beach towels. the common beach area is very small. The rooms look like they have not been update in 20 yrs. The microwave is old and the fridge door was broken The first night... more

had some problems checking in, they couldn't find my reservation then they tried to charge me for an upgrade for a water view when i already paid for that upgrade during booking. It took some doing to get her to understand that fact. Not very friendly. Other staff was friendly. Accomodations were fair for price. Location was good. more

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed. The room we stayed in totally needed renovation. Most important on this was the electrical outlets. Face plates were cracked or had pieces missing exposing the outlets. Some of the outlets would not securly hold the plug. One outlet would not securely hold a plug. About the pool, it was... more
