This was my second stay at this hotel, and it definitely won't be my last when visiting Newark. I again stayed here while visiting my son at UD. The inn is very, very clean, the decor is lovely, they offer a free continental breakfast, free indoor parking, and the staff is nice and friendly. As a bonus, when I arrived,... more

I have traveled to Newark, DE for work and I usually stay at the Hilton Christiana or the Country Inn. The Country Inn hotel is priced very reasonably for the clean rooms, free high-speed internet, and continental breakfast that it provides. The rooms are nice sized. While it does not have a restaurant on-site, there are a few restaurants close... more

I stay in Newark, DE frequently. I've tried all the different hotels depending upon whose paying my tab. I do consultng, so depending upon who I do it for, my expense limits vary. In short, this is probably the best place to stay when you compare what you pay for. For the $100-$125 range, this has to be the best... more

My husband and I stayed here for an overnighter while visiting our son at the University. The hotel is charming - country decor and cozy. Our room was large, two queen beds, chair, desk - plenty of room. It was extremely clean and looked very new, as did the entire place. Check in and out was a breeze. Continental breakfast... more

We stopped over here one night on our way to tour Philadelphia. The check-in was fast , friendly, and efficient. Our room was pleasant with colonial decor, two queen beds, a desk/table with two chairs, and a wing chair. There were no cleanliness issues. The bed linens appear to be towards the end of their life span. There is parking... more

My husband and I stayed here on our way to Washington DC. We arrived late in the evening and the staff was prepared for our arrival and quickly checked us in. There was a meeting taking place downstairs and the staff person put us in a room away from the noise. The room is standard but clean. The bathroom had... more

The room was spotless. Desk clerk was very helpful. The free continental breakfast was more than just muffins and coffee. If I have to travel back to Newark I would definitely stay here again. more

We checked in on June 29 after a long drive but with a reservation. At first I didn't notice that the desk clerk didn't return my credit card. We rested for over an hour before heading out to shop. When I realized that I didn't have my credit card we went back to the hotel. The desk clerk handed it... more

Stay away from Country Inn & Suites in Newark. They let bad people to come in and steal. I lost my back bag while having breat fast in their dining room. My passport was in that bag. One person lost his car window (broken) and laptop on the same day. The front desk employees are arogant. They do not even... more
