We stayed here to attend a concert at the Bluebird theater on Colfax. It was fairly cheap, and close to 1-25 (no football game at Invesco) so I wasn't expecting much. The room was really cool, it's very old school 70's. Nothing terribly fancy---room was pretty spartan but very clean. We went to the bar/restaurant on the top floor and... more

We stayed the weekend and we were booked with a group of 20 or so people that were there to see a band two nights in a row. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was great, we were on the 11th floor. Very clean and above average for a room that price. My only problem was... more

Hotel had no availability, despite our confirmation of our reservation prior to the trip. We have a 2 year old and an infant (8 weeks old). With this in mind had reserved a double bed with a crib. Upon arrival we were instructed that the only room available was a king size, smoking room, which at the time was still... more

Desperately in need of refurbishment. Room was dirty and musty. Bed was uncomfortable. Furniture was old. TV was old. Bathroom fixtures were in poor shape. Staff was very accomodating when I cancelled my reserved second night and moved to another hotel. Only reason to stay here is if you need to be walking distance to the stadium. more

Other than the fact that they couldn't get my card to work at the front desk (but it worked in the atm at the hotel, for a fee of course, annoying), we had no complaints. The staff was friendly and the room was fine and comfy. They really need to lose the double beds and put in queens though. We... more

Stayed here for a week during the Democratic National Convention. The hotel itself is a bit worn and not luxurious. But I have to say this was perhaps the nicest staff, offering the best service, I've ever seen in many, many hotel stays. I needed to change rooms from smoking to nonsmoking at one point, and the staff handled it... more

Wow! you cannot believe the views from the restaurant and my room. You can see all of Denver and the mountains from this 14 floor hotel. Staff is super friendly and shuttle service to anywhere downtown! Prices are reasonable and parking was free..very unusual for a hotel so close to downtown. Lobby is lit with candlelight at night..very romantic more

Everything downtown was booked so I settled for the VQ. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and the shuttle downtown was very convenient. Overall the property was kept very clean, inside and out. The price was right as well. My room had a great view of Denver and despite being about six inches from... more

Location is noisy (highway), but with a nice view (Denver downtown). Room size is rather small than large, everything is pretty worn out, stained carpet, old, noisy ac, but beds and bathroom were clean. Close to downtown, free shutlle, friendly guy at the front desk, everything 'works', but no location for a nice, special or romantic stay. more
