First of all it was to be non smoking and room stunk of smoke. The friends staying next to us and there room was so bad they had it changed. We where to stay five nights and only last one. My wife was having trouble breathing so she checked the a/c. She washed out the filter in the tube the water... more
Don't believe the reviews of this hotel. The location is awesome, very close to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak and not far from downtown at all. Nothing was more than a 20 minute drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and considering the price, they were relatively spacious. The heated indoor pool was nice as well. Breakfast... more
Well to start it off the pictures are NOT what the place actually looks like. My whole family was due to meet and stay at the Travelodge but my husband and I decided to go and check out where our hotel would be before everyone got here. (Thank God) I then called to cancel my reservations and the Travelodge employee... more
I recently stayed at this Travelodge and whilst I have no issues with our service or the room itself, the motel is in DESPERATE need of a make-over. Its location is good – right across the street from the entrance to the historic Colorado City neighbourhood – but it is also right on the main road of US-24. The motel... more
Hands down, this is one of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed in. I hardly know where to begin--the seedy surrounding neighborhood? The slovenly, unprofessional, and uncaring staff? Perhaps the short & curly hairs I found both on the bathroom floor AND on the blankets? Let's see... I might have been able to get past all of the many... more
Very pleasant front office staff, good location for an early morning run to the airport. Unfortunately we had an interleading door in our room and could hear our neighbours clearly! Comfortable beds and clean room, although the outside looks a little tired. Close to Old City and Manitou which were both fun to visit. more
Loved this hotel. The staff was great, beds were wonderful, room was extremely clean, breakfast was great and having an attendent making waffels was a plus. The wireless interent was also a plus and worked extremely well. It is very close to most sites and across the street from Old Colorado City. We would definetly recommend this hotel and we... more
the travellodge was absolutely worth it's price. our room was large and clean. you're right next to the local attractions, marts and a starbucks. the woman at the front desk was very friendly. we will definitely stay there again! more
This hotel, though a bit grungy and dowdy, has a terrific staff that is handled very nicely by the manager. Excellent service was always provided. The free wireless is a joke, the beds are lousy but the staff made up for it in spades. Stay here if you are on a budget & want to be treated very well. more
