Attractively built, if somewhat sprawling resort. The views from the outside rooms are excellent. The food served was quite good, and the staff was very friendly. The location is awkward for visitors who do not have a car, although the resort shuttle is helpful for going to/from the airport. Unfortunately, if one really wants to see some of the best... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the view immensely. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the balcony view is breathtaking. The pool is rather small considering the size of this resort. They have 2 restaurants in the main building. One is for casual dining and the other one is fancier. The food service was rather... more

We were looking for a resort that had tennis, golf and horseback riding nearby. This is a lowkey, perfect R & R resort. Decent rooms, lovely mountain view, deer outside our lodge. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will make this a regulartvacaction stop. What we liked overall about Colorado Springs is it is not a resort town, yet there... more

This is a great location, a nice mountain view, with average accomodations. We stayed for 4 nights and had 2 rooms for our family of teenagers. As others have stated the rooms are dated. They had some big stains on the carpet and the bathrooms had mildew around the edges in both rooms. So the first impression was not so... more

flew in tonight from Atlanta for a training session at the hotel. No vending onsite, gift shop closed, staff recommended that I walk off site to a grocery store for something to eat. I will not pay $12 for a snack in the resturant. If it wasn't being paid for by the vendor, I would check out tonight.... and I... more

My teen son and I stayed here for three nights. I think I began getting a little suspicious that the resort was not the "affordable Broadmoor" that I was led to believe it was when, at check-in, they charged a $50 early checkout penalty to my card. I also thought it was a little tacky when I saw the two... more

Spent two nights at the resort while attending a friend's wedding. It was everything I was looking for in a resort. Nothing over the top like the Broadmoor, but a great representation of the Colorado Springs area. Very laid back and the main focus was on nature and relaxation. We were on the 2nd floor with an amazing view of... more

Probably the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. The resort is beautiful, and we have already recommended it to family and friends. The food is excellent and service remarkable. more

We always enjoy staying the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. We live close by, but will stay at the resort as a special treat. Our kids love the pools and my husband and I love feeling like we've just had a mini-vacation. It's a wonderful facility and we will definitely be back. more

There were 4 of us (2 couples) traveling together. We were very frustrated in that after booking a 10:30 Monday tee time 2 weeks in advance, when we visited the Pro Shop on Sunday afternoon we were informed that there was a1:00 outing on Monday - so we could either play in an 8:00am shotgun or forget it. We felt... more
