Stayed at the Ayres Hotel Seal Beach this past week for a nearby conference. Had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and took an informed gamble. Large rooms with marvelously comfortable beds, "euro-style" furniture, microwave and refrigerator in room. We loved this hotel. Wish they were all over the US. Great "free" breakfast. Easy access to/from highway. No noise from roads. Clean. Pretty. Only draw back was how for it was from Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. About 45 minutes one way . The hotel in itself was GREAT. Would stay again!!!!!! more

We stayed at this hotel for five days. I requested a quiet top(third) floor room when making the online reservation and that's what they gave me. Some rooms face the freeway and/or road. Wow, this place was amazing. The rates are surprisingly affordable. The rooms are very, very clean and classy. The breakfast was decent--a nice warm meal with good ham and fresh fruit.
