My girlfriend and I had a chance to stay at this beautiful Inn over this past weekend. We really enjoyed the charm of the building and the extreamy friendly staff. We were lucky enough to stumble on a wine tasting the hotel was having which gave us a chance to sample some great local wines and meet other guests. This... more

Santa Barbara is expensive. I was looking for a good deal, but still a decent hotel. This place fits the bill. I'd say it's a bit better than a Best Western. When we first walked in, the lobby smelled like mildew. However, the smell was only in the lobby and not in our room. I rented a basic King room.... more

We travel up the CA coast often to visit family in the Bay area and often stop mid-way for a break. There's no better place to refresh yourself than Santa Barbara and our home away from home there is the Eagle Inn. We've probably stayed at a dozen places and once we tried the Eagle Inn (based on other TripAdvisor... more

My husband and I showed up without reservations on a Sunday night looking for a room for 2 nights. The front desk staff was delightful. She showed us the 2 rooms she had available and let us decide which we wanted. Unfortunately, we could not have the same room for 2 nights so we packed our things when we left... more

My husband and I stayed at the Eagle Inn for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon, and it was a great stay. Knowing that it was our honeymoon, the Inn upgraded us from the king with fireplace room, to one of their private bungalows with a whirlpool tub. It was amazing!!! It was the best of B&B rooms we... more

We stayed at the Eagle Inn for 1 night on our tour of California. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to get information for us. We had a room with 2 double beds which was very nicely decorated. There were several fans in the room which we needed as it was very warm... more

We had a chance to stay here for 1 night this past September while driving the coast up through California. What a fantastic little inn...so glad we booked it here...it is a hidden gem. We had booked a Deluxe King but when we checked in, we were delighted to find out we had been upgraded to a Superior King with... more

The Eagle Inn was a well presented hotel and we were lucky enough to have a huge room with a kitchenette (even though we were not self-catering) and corner bath with jacuzzi. We were impressed by the value for money. It was a 20 minute walk to the main strip and and a 5-minute cab ride. Well situated, clean and... more

Based on the positive reviews for this hotel, we booked a "deluxe queen room" for a Friday night at $179 (not bad for Santa Barbara). However, we were stunned at how small the room was, on the second floor with no elevator. There was so much furniture in it that we could hardly move. I found the experience to be... more

I loved this place! I was fortunate enough to be able to snag a reservation last minute. Because of the last-minute reservation (The Thursday before a Friday check-In for 2 nights), we had a deluxe king room on Friday (Rm. 103), and then the San Nicolas cottage the next night. Location: Perfect. It was close to the 101 Freeway and... more
