My colleagues and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a business event in late November. The hotel has a beautiful location right on the harbor, and for those guests coming for pleasure there are wonderful pool, fitness and spa facilities to enjoy. Unfortunately my visit did not allow time for anything except a quick run on the treadmill each... more

I stayed at the Presidential Suite during one night in November (called the Ritz Carlton Suite, and it doesn't have a room number). The stay was very comfortable and very nice. Since this was a suite, my review might have been a little more on the plus side Pros - The suite was HUGE! It was six times the size... more

The Ritz-Carlton lives up to its name. While there were a few things that could be improved (room configuration), but the service and amenities more than made up for that. Need water while lounging in the hot tub, pool attendant is on it! The location was great with the exception of the traffic noise constantly washing over the pool (but... more

Stayed here during a business meeting (I didn't select the location). Enjoyed the hotel's location on the Marina along the walking/biking path and the views from my room. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Bulgari bath amenities were nice. Office supplies in desk drawer were a great bonus. Front desk staff did their jobs. Bellmen were obnoxious. We were unloading... more

I was a bit shocked by the condition of this property. The carpets in the main hallway are threadworn in spots and nothing less than filthy. One can clearly see the dirt track leading down the hall from the lobby to the elevators. The room itself was showing signs of age, many areas of chipped paint, mildew stains on the... more

The stay at The Ritz was simply a wonderful experience. First of all, it is close enough to LAX to make it easy access after a long cross-country trip, yet far enough away to be more pleasant. The hotel itself is very beautiful, and the outside surroundings enhance everything. In the morning you can walk along the harbor and take... more

We spent 3 nights here. It's quite a large hotel lay out wise and beside a marina. It's a very friendly place. However it does need a revamp in my opinion. We had a deluxe room which was modern enough though and with a view out over the marina. Theres a large bar and restaurant area with some outdoor seating near the marina.We... more

I stayed here for the historic Rose Bowl game between Texas and USC, and I really liked it. The rooms were great, the staff helped, the beds were incredibily comfy, and the food was good. We really enjoyed our stay here, and I loved the game. quite possibly one of the best trips I've ever taken in my life. more

Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights for the final part of our honeymoon, mainly so we could travel around LA and do some shopping before going home. The location is good if you plan on visiting the venice beach or santa monica area, we travelled around by taxis very easily. There were always taxis waiting at the... more

The staff was friendly. The room had some problems like mold above a vent, and some areas that need more attention when being cleaned. We we lacking a floor towel in the bath, which they knew about [and were reminded of], but it never appeared. Also, the pool area is nothing special. Bar staff was too young and not very... more
