Great place to go to with your partner. We had a ocean view room with a patio right on the beach. The room also had fireplace which can be put on by just flipping a switch, a nice (but not jacuzzi style-) bathtub, a tv and a king size bed. You can rent movies at the front desk. Although we weren't overly impressed with Malibu itself, this hotel was one of the best we stayed at throughout our 4 week honeymoon. Special mention must go to the staff/owner who was more than friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to stop and visit up the PCH. Highly Recommended! more

We had 2 nights here last December and found it one of the best hotels in California! Owners were really friendly and helpful, we were told to try two local restaurants (Geoffrey's and the Italian opposite), both were fantastic. Can't wait to stay again. more

We had a truly fantastic time at this wonderful hotel/inn, right on its own private section of the truly exclusive Carbon Beach in Malibu.
