I stayed at the hotel during the week for business from Sept 18, 2008 - Oct. 15, 2008. Every time I checked in the staff was friendly, helpful, and very accomidating. I told them my needs for a long stay and they provided me with a room that fit perfectly and held the room for each week of my stay.... more

This hotel is a little older but spotless. Nice pool and spa. There is a cute restaurant next door and if you are booked on a cruise ship they will escort you to the pier, unload your baggage and allow you to leave your car at their hotel for a nominal charge. They have security so the car will be... more

This hotel was one of those listed with Corporate Lodging, which is a program for frequent travelers. When presenting the card at check out, the rate was raised $10.00 from a regular corporate rate. So don't use your Corporate Lodging here. The manager was completely uninformed about the program during a previous visit, and obviously chose this method of making... more

Stayed at this "Hotel" March 23rd prior to catching a cruise. The condition of this property was terrible, and it was unkept. Actually found a used/discarded condom and it's wrapper within the bed sheets. Unfortunatley, the condom nor the wrapper belonged to me. We booked this because of Best Western's reputation. I have lodged a complaint to Best Western about... more

We booked the hotel on line to stay the night before catching a cruise ship at the harbor. The hotel had a bad odor. The personell seemed indifferent to any problems we had. The bedside light in our room would not work. When we got the maintanence to replace it, we had to unscrew and rescrew the bulb to turn... more

This was a last minute thing. We had a funeral in the family and needed a place close by. This one looked O.K. as we drove by. The parking lot was clean and the landscape was decently cared for. The lobby was dirty and the walls were especially dirty. The agent at the front desk was friendly and check in... more

Very bad experience. Not very clean and the room smelled of must, mold. I went on the internet searching for a place to park and stay near the carnival ship. This is not it. It is in San Pedro not near carnival. They lied. I was informed I had to contact them direct for the park and stay. You have... more

In traveling to destinations in California I've noticed that the air conditioning units are not running for the guests checking into the hotels. Obviously, the high cost of electricity in mind but we guests ARE paying for the room and it would be nice to have it comfortable when we get there instead of waiting several hours for the room... more

i have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years. We stay there because we can leave our cars there when we leave on a cruise ship. The hotel has a shuttle that will deliver and pick you up from the port of call. I don't know if the hotel has changed hands, but we were treated... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in June as the first stop on a 4 week holiday in the States, mainly to recover from the flight and the time shift. We loved Redondo Beach - very friendly, lots of very good eating places and far less hassle than other areas up the coast or elsewhere in LA. The Sunrise Hotel... more
