november 19, Yesterday we came back from our 3 weeks trip to the Cook Islands, we had a wonderfull time. In Aitutaki we stayed at Paradise Cove for 7 nights, it was a lovely stay and we were sorry to leave again. Because we travel a lot , we like to make budgets for our travels and Paradise Cove was... more

This place is lovely. Yes it's definilty not a top end flash place but it is still a great place to stay. We were there for 5 days in May and were so impressed. Ron has definilty improved the place. We got a lovely breakfast every morning, our towels were replaced every 2 days and Ron was so helpful. He... more

Well what can I say we were very blessed to stay at Paradise Cove, a beach bungalow with fabulous views and oh so romantic!!!! Just like in all the brochures. From the time we made an internet booking, Emmy ensured we had a most memorable stay. We were met at the airport and had transfers and breakfast included which was... more

I stayed at PARADISE COVE for 2 WEEKS during my Honeymoon in Sep/Oct 2006 and WE LOVED IT!!!!!! EXPECTATIONS: Allot of people have posted negative reviews of Paradise Cove, I think most of those people where expecting too much when they book there stay. I knew Aitutaki was a remote location. I was ready for the simple life. I knew... more

We have just returned from 4 nights at Paradise Cove. Ron Powell, uncle of the owners has been there for 3 months and making progress with improvements. The bathrooms in the beachfront units have been renewed and small kitchenettes have sufficient facilities to make tea/ coffee and a basic meal (eg omlette) The units are small but clean and are... more

No hotwater, terrible breakfast (plastic cups, plastic tray) and dirty (never got our room cleaned in 5 days). We endured 5 nights, but moved the last night to Samade on the Beach, to be able to enjoy Aitutaki at least a bit. We were recommended this hotel by our travel agency in Sweden and we made a complaint to them... more

I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at Paradise Cove. Aitutaki as a location is just gorgeous, but Paradise Cove puts a damper on it. We paid 170AUD for a beachfront bungalow with daily breakfast and full facilities. Here's what we got; - A rickety old bungalow with a rope holding the roof on. - The doors didn't lock, so... more

We've travelled the Pacific extensively, staying in budget backpackers to 5-stay luxury, and unfortunately we were thoroughly disappointed by Paradise Cove. We booked directly, and despite having a printout of email confirmation, Paradise Cove were not expecting us. Fortunately (we thought) they had a free beachfront 'villa' available. Indeed they had several, and during the rest of our stay we... more

We stayed at Paradise Cove for 3 nights in June 2006. This place is absolute picture perfect but actually staying in it is another matter. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow which is quite small with a queen size mattress over a double bed base. I first noticed this when I sat on the edge of the bed and it... more

This was THE most memorable place on a very memorable vacation (and I even stayed on One Foot Island for a night). I stayed in bungalow #7, and although the buildings are packed tight along the beach front I never felt a lack of privacy. The bungalows are simple and clean... the bathrooms seemed to have been recently remodeled. The... more
