We reached at 8:00 pm in the evening after a long drive from Ankara, all the 14 of our family members [ Indian Vegiterians] were a bit hungry & tired too. At this point we recieved a warm welcome from Ms. Hamide & she introduced us to their Hotel team. The introduction took only 5 mins but it was done... more

My mother and I spent several nights at the Gamirasu Cave Hotel. Wow - what a gem! The rooms were beautiful with luxurious sheets and towels and very comfortable beds. The food was excellent with a huge breakfast buffet each morning and a wonderful dinner in the evening. People who were staying there were all very friendly, and everybody ended... more

I am an American tour operator and brought a small group to stay at this lovely accommodation for 3 nights in October 2008. I have used countless hotel properties around the world for the past 11 years for my tours, and the Gamirasu Cave Hotel certainly ranks as one of the most special places I've used. The hospitality of Bariș... more

We stayed 2 nights in Gamirasu on our Turkey tour end Sept.2008. It was wonderful - we felt like part of 1001 nights. Everything was perfect. Magic room and surroundings. Warm, friendly and humorous atmosphere. Nothing was too difficult. Excellent food. Splendid guide Birsen. Great and helpful driver Ümüz. Thank you, thank you. We'll recommend you in Denmark. more

I recently traveled in the Cappadocia region of Turkey with a small group of women friends. This entire region is dotted with mountainous caves. One of the places we stayed was at the Gamirasu Cave Hotel. It was a very unusual place in that each room or suite was hewn out of a cave in the mountainside. The spacious suite... more

I was at Gamirasu hotel for three nights during the this past summer. Arriving from the the airport to Ayvali is like being transported to what real Turkey is and not were rest of tourist go. Ayvali is a really beatiful small village 10 km away from Urgup, the closest big city around. The 10 minutes driving from Urgup to... more

We weren't sure what it was going to be like to stay in the cave suite on our honeymoon, but it was certainly a unique experience that we'll always remember. The trip in had us a bit concerned - we rented a car and drove to the hotel, got lost a bit and finally found it by working our way... more

Lucky us (*-*) we chose well when we booked our recent trip to Turkey by using Tripadvisor.com. We booked our trip through the amazing Suleyman Cakir (www.cappadociatours.com) and Euphrates Tours. When Suleyman sent a proposed list of hotels, I asked for a cave hotel and he offered the Gumirasu Cave Hotel. This is an amazing hotel, with just 21 rooms... more

The good: Lots of character – former monastery converted into a hotel. Has a chapel with Byzantine with paintings that are clearly deteriorating. They will probably be gone in a couple of years if no conservation work is done to preserve them. Small but beautiful grounds. Beautifully appointed rooms. Friendly staff (though some of the housekeepers looked a bit haggard.... more

We have had an amazing staying at Gamirasu Hotel. The Hotel is very nice, beautiful and clean. The room was really big, with 2 bedrooms and the bathroom was very nice too. The food at the Hotel is great, and the staff is very very kind and is always trying to make things perfect about your staying. I strongly recommend... more
