My new husband and I stayed in the Marriott in July of this year and were not at all disappointed.Everything about the resort was fantastic. We returned from the Grand Palace on our second day to find a happy honeymoon cake on our table (a very sweet touch!).The hotel staff couldn't be more helpful, a package arrived by surprise to the... more

This hotel and its staff can not be faulted in anyway. The service is better than anywhere else in the world. I wish the same could be said of some of the guests who have now brought the 'med' mentality to the Orient. The selfish practice of reserving sunbeds for hours upon end must be stopped. There is a sign... more

My husband and I just came back from spending several days in Bangkok. We really liked this hotel. From our room we could look out across the river and see downtown Bangkok. They had a shuttle boat every 20 minutes from the hotel to across the river. The pool and grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was good. They also... more

This is a very good hotel indeed. I stayed here for a couple of nights a year ago, and decided to go back and spend longer this October. Great location on the river, beautiful pool area, excellent food and friendly staff. Nice large clean rooms. Expensive food and drink but the service is very good so I wasn't too bothered.... more

Our impression from marriott: it became a little lousy for a 4 star hotel, its a shame. virtual a nice hotel but now the benefit is reduced to a very good breakfast (a little less since years before). our impression from marriott: they rise in prices, beverages costs are same ore higher as in an european city and at the... more

Dear Paulahangover, thank you very much for your feedback about your recent stay, which we reviewed for potential areas of improvement. We are certainly aware of the sensitivity of pricing and consider any increase carefully. Unfortunately increased consumer prices and operation costs made adjustments necessary but have been kept to a minimum. The implemented non smoking laws in Thailand earlier...

We arrived late on a Wednesday and I was anxious about coming in so late. It was not a problem at all. The hotel staff was very accomidating -they walked us to our room, with the luggage in tow. The room had a very comfy (almost squishy soft bed). We had upgraded to a river view room, the view of... more

For our 3rd stay in Bangkok we booked at the Marriott to get away from the worst tourist areas, and we absolutely loved it. Staff was friendly, pool was good, breakfast great, shuttle boat service excellent and so was the breakfast box we got when leaving the hotel early in the morning. A perfect place to get away from the... more

We spent one night as our cruise-ship was docked nearly 3 hours away at Laen Chabang and port visit was 1 1/2 days. It would have been tiring day, had we returned to the ship on a same day. The hotel lobby is lovely and staff was dripping with charm and beauty. We were personally escorted to our room by... more

I'd really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok, it's a lovely, tranquil way to explore a really hectic yet exciting city. The shuttle boat means you can use this as a base to come back and relax at the end of a busy day, and easily go in and out of town (service every 15 minutes). My boyfriend and... more
