Just fanatastic, lovely open-air feel to the atrium, big comfy rooms (suites), great (free) breakfasts, free cocktails at around 6pm, numerous (free) internet terminals in the lobby. My husband, 14-yr-old son and I stayed here for 6 nights at the end of July. We took a cab to/from the hotel (~$17 ea way). It is within walking distance of the metro, but if you have luggage I would recommend a cab instead (you never know when the escalators may not be operating plus it's just a hassle... more

My family and I stayed at the Embassy Suites DC over 4th of July weekend and had a great time. What a nice hotel! Room was perfect, clean and roomy. The breakfast and happy hour food was very generous! The only negative, to this hotel is that it is a bit of a walk to the Metro, but we would definately stay there again! more
