Arriving early in Platypus Bush Camp, Gorge Road, Finch Hatton, Eungella NP,meant finding that the creek was high and only 4WD could cross the 5 fords to the camp. This was Wazza's place and he gave us a lift across. There were only 2 other people, australian tourists from up state. The wet season was just beginning, mid January 2007.... more
