Read a review of Auersperg here, and just drove up to the door, prices in hand. They were friendly and even gave us an upgrade! Nice location in a quiet area, parking, and only a 5-10 min walk to the old town streets (more noisy and difficult to park). Nice modern rooms - we had 2 flat screen TV's, they... more

We stayed in this hotel during a hotel to Salzburg in September and loved every minute of it. From the moment of checking in the staff were friendly, helpful and informative. We had a room in the villa next door, which again I really liked - it was perfectly adequate for our needs and had a very nice, very clean... more

We stayed in the Villa for 4 nights in September. Our holiday got off to a bad start because Air Berlin managed to loose our luggage on our flight into Munich, so we arrived at the hotel with just the clothes we had travelled in.The hotel staff coudn't have been more helpful, they tried and tried until they eventually got through to... more

The hotel is beautiful. The room was perfect in every detail and very comfortable. We stayed for three days in the main hotel in a room that overlooks the garden. The staff were all polite and helpful. You can tell from their disposition that they like working for that hotel. The breakfast was good and the bar was relaxing. No... more

We stayed in the main hotel building and were very happy with the room and the hotel in general. the location is great, only a 10-15 minute walk into the old town, and plenty of restaurants nearby. It is very comfortable, and little extras like chcolates on your pillow and being able to watch a DVD make all the difference.... more

We stayed two nights and felt that the hotel was very overpriced. We stayed in 'The Villa' part. The room was Ok but lacked details such as something to sit on, on the balcony and air conditioning! Reception made several mistakes (booked us in for 1 night, not 2. Insisted we had paid already when we hadn't but they rectified... more

Stayed here in July for 3 nights and then 1 further night, and stayed in both the villa and the hotel proper. I was staying with my family including two kids. We stayed initially in the Villa which was really excellent. Very sizeable, comfortable and really stylishly done and well appointed. Then we stayed in the hotel for a further... more

The hotel consists of two buildings: the hotel itself and "The Villa", separated by the car parking - which is a "must" in Salzburg. I was in the Villa. The area is very quite, though only a 15 minute walk from the historical part of the city. I took 20 minutes to reach the "Haus für Mozart" concert hall. The... more

Myself and my wife stayed in this hotel as part of our honeymoon in Salzburg and loved it! The hotel did a 'love in the city' package for us which included, champagne on arrival, breakfast in bed, flowers, chocolates meal in the old part of the city etc. It added a nice touch to our stay. The location of the... more

My husband and I stayed in this fantastic hotel for two nights last week. We would consider it a boutique style hotel. We stayed in a room in the "Villa", which is right next door to the hotel main building. The room was really nice, an unusual design. It had two sections - a sleeping area and bathroom, then also... more
