Hotel Riesco is one of the best lodging deals I have ever had. It has lots of character and is in a great spot for attractions and metro access. I stayed in Hostel Riesco for three nights whilst visiting my sister who lived in Madrid. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms could be a little bit bigger but overall well worth the price and would stay there again. more
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Ask for a room away from the street, to be on the safe side with the noise factor. Right on Plaza Sol, with a subway stop. Small laundromat with internet access is within walking distance, but know the word for laundromat in spanish to ask directions (front desk doesn't know and I forgot it... more
