Don't mistunderstand me...it's a nice hotel...but certainly NOT for that kind of money.......there are rooms that face the back....beware, if you open a window to get air, the noise is unbearable...if you get a room that faces the park, you're okay as far as noise. Although not situated directly in the Old Town, it is only two or three stops on the underground to the Marienplatz. Our standard room was spacious and the bathroom was large and appeared to have wheel chair access to the walk in shower (there is also a separate bath). opened in fall 200, the charles hotel has relatively large rooms with modern technology throughout. the service levels are very high and staff is very friendly and efficient. I would definitely return. more

This is a true 5 star hotel with a good location, helpful staff, perfect rooms and some little pleasant details like providing the car of guests who are leaving with route directions, bottles of water and dragees. more
