Knowing nothing at all about Dublin while we were visiting some friends, we stayed at the KingFisher B&B. We found a great, clean, spacious place where to stay. It is just around the corner of O' Connell St, which is a great location to walk around the city. Administration was very friendly and helpful. Food on the restaurant was very... more

Staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. Rooms are clean and efficient, however, not real comfortable. It was nice to have a mini fridge and sink in the room. The restaurant was great. Good service and great breakfast every morning. more

I stayed here for a 4 night stint, followed about a week later by a 1 night stay (in order to catch my flight, the next day). I had a mixed experience. The location is fabulous. It is on the Northside of Dublin, but it is less than a five minute walk to O'Connell street. The help was great and... more

We stayed in Kingfisher apartments for a few days in August at th beginning of our European trip. Overall, the apartment was clean, decent layout (2 bedrooms) and well furnished/modern enough for our needs. My complaint is this. In our rush to leave and catch the next flight, we accidentally left behind a few articles of clothing in the bedroom... more

A recent stay at the Kingfisher was a mixed bag for me. The place was in a very decent location - it was easy to get to and from the airport via an express bus stop right around the corner and it was walking distance from everything in Dublin. But the place itself was small and shabby with dirty carpets... more

I stayed in the Kingfisher in March 2007. First of all, it's cheaper than most, and it's in a convenient location just North of O'connell Street. I have to say I found none of the problems listed below. The basics were good. The place was clean, in fact a lot cleaner than some more expensive places I've been to. It... more

We stayed at the Kingfisher Guesthouse in Dublin between 27 January 2007 and 29 January 2007. Our room (#1) had a single bed and a queen sized bed, a kitchenette and a tv. It was relatively clean, comfortable and the linens were changed daily. The thing that really disgusted me upon arrival was that there was a hair on the... more

Good budget accommodation in Dublin is hard to find. Really hard. Hospitality was definitely the wrong career path for the guys that run the bed and breakfast. Their reception was icy and they were most unhelpful. The room was very average, it did not resemble the photos I had seen on the website whatsoever. The bathroom was okay apart from... more

Me and the wife stayed at the Kingfisher for 3 nights in October 06. The apartment was brand new and had two bedrooms (double bed and double and a single) both with ensuite rooms. There was a dishwasher (for cleaning my plate after the kebab from the night before), a microwave for reheating the kebab and a kettle for making... more
