I was shown to my room by a staff member who said it was her favorite room in the hotel - she must be an insomniac because the street noise made it impossible to get any sleep. Surprised by our stay in this lovely hotel, which used to be Lilly Langtry's house. The day manager is difficult. We stayed here in October, the service was far more personal than larger establishments , Alasdar was a gem! Definately would stay again next time we are in London, it was like a home from home. more
