Me and my wife were due to stay here for 4 nights as part of my 40th Birthday trip to Canada, we only stayed for 3 and left for Niagara on the Lake early. If we hadn't of booked it with Starwood Hotel points, making it very cheap, we probably would have left earlier. The hotel Lobby and bar were... more

Very disappointed in this hotel. Was expecting a well preserved character hotel. Corners were cut everywhere: no conditioner in room, one small bottle of drinking water-- exactly half of what is customary at hotels around the world; cold, dingy bathroom with green fungus-like growth around the taps and gaps in the badly 'mended' ceiling. No robes in the bedroom, lots... more

The King Eddy is great old hotel in the heart of Toronto. The club level rooms are elegant, large and luxurious. Service is very good from the front desk thru to the club lounge. I would stay at this very good business hotel again. Excellent location, rooms and staff. more

Great spot to tour what without doubt was and is one of the best ever family holidays. Staff were helpful and polite, the barman was fantastic. Hotel looks very grand in the pictures but not so grnad in reality. Rooms are average at best and not reflective of my previous le meridien experiences. All that being said such is it's... more

Book a trip to Toronto and stay at the King Edward without hesitation. The room was large, clean, and opulent. The service, from the front desk staff to the doorman to the hotel operator to the porter to the waitstaff, was outstanding. The location perfectly suited our needs. Wonderful hotel. more

Wonderful stay, comfy big beds, smoking rooms available on the 9th floor with a nice view of the water. Minutes from the ACC! A coffeemaker in the room would have been nice, though. The elevators have been updated I am happy to say! The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, quick to valet and check in/out. I will be back. more

Very noisy hotel, and definately not worth the money. Did not have a good room at all, and heard doors slammy all night long. On top of it all, I got the worst view - of the fire escape and got to hear constructions starting at 6am. Small rooms too, not even enough room to setup my luggage. (one bag)... more

Well where to start.. First I usually do not review my business travel accommodations - but I am making an exception. The location of the King Edward is at the outer east end of the Theater District and Financial District. I think it is outside these areas. Airport shuttles do not stop here as it is out f the way... more

I just came back from an actuarial conference there. I've been to older hotels and understand the difference between that and a newer Hilton for example. However, I was downgraded with no change in price and no attempt was made to appease me after several complaints about the size of the bed, poor internet connection, etc. Additionally, the hotel makes... more

I went to Toronto on a work trip and booked the room at the King Eddie through Hotels.com. The hotel was very grand at the entrance and there were people having high tea in the foyer. I arrived around 2pm and was told that my room was not ready. So I asked why (its European Standard to check in at... more
