The hotel is well situated in the centre of town. Easy access to shops and night life. However the service is poor. Check in took in excess of 15 minutes, not to mention the wait of another 15 minutes to get up the elevators. Rooms are poorly insulated and therefore conversations in the hall, phones ringing in next door rooms... more

My stay at the Westin Edmonton was disappointing. The room doors were poorly insulated for sound and all hallway noise filtered in throughout day and night. The hotel also charged $10.95 per day for internet access, (per computer) e.g. if you have a personal and a business computer you will have to pay $22 per day for the privilege of... more

I had the devil of a time sleeping comfortably on their 'heavenly bed' because the bottom sheet was too short to fold under the bottom of the mattress. If the bottom sheet is not tucked in, it doesn't take long for the sheet to ride up the bed leaving your feet to rub against the rough surface of the mattress.... more

Booked this hotel through priceline. First problem was the parking situation.. it is a very small parking garage and maybe 70 cars can fit in it? it is also very expensive for the parking. We arrived and checked in and all was pretty good. got into the room and thought it looked amazing at first. Yet after being in there... more

I recently stayed here while attending a workshop for work. The room, hotel and lobby were in appearance very satisfactory- but I have to say the value and service was greatly lacking. I could see giving this hotel a good rating if work is paying and you are completely removed from the cost- but I couldn't get over the constant... more

When you go on a road trip to a destination you don't really want to visit, at least you treat yourself to a nice hotel. That principle applies to my choice of hotels. Never had any trouble at The Westin. No matter where, a good sleep is guaranteed. I have stayed at The Westin in Edmonton before and though a... more

My husband and I and 16 other family members visited this hotel from August 14-August 18. My husband and I left on !7 August while some family stayed a night longer . We did not know that parking was extra at $26.00 a night for valet parking or $24.00 for self-parking. .A wonderful buffet breakfast, however at $22.00 per person,a... more

Stayed in a newly renovated room with King Bed, which was absolutely nice. The Hotel lies downtown, easy to reach and with good parking opportunities (valet or also road-side parking). The service was always very helpful, but not all the time perfectly informed (e.g. about Starwood Preferred Guest benefits). We had a very helpful young lady at the day of... more

I travel to Edmonton A LOT for work, and I have stayed in at least 4 hotels around downtown and south side Edmonton. Westin Edmonton is a well-run shop. I like their cocktail hours before you head back to your hotel room, and I like the restaurant choices around there. Japanese Village is a great restaurant for a causal and... more

A/C did not work in the hotel during the entire stay. Technicians "were working on it" for 3 days... result, the room was beastly hot. The rooms were average at best. Strong smell of mold in the rooms. The staff was junior, almost trainee level. Breakfast and room service options are limited...be aware the limited menu after 10pm is VERY... more
