The promotional pictures of this hotel were much better than the reality. We enjoyed the swimming pools, with some beautiful plants and foliage surrounding them. The food in the restaurant was fine, although the price for a glass of wine made us choose soda instead. The dining area overlooked the grounds and was a great and relaxing setting. I stayed at Mision Cuernavaca with my school group on a language trip. The girls were on one side of the road and the boys on the other. But, the boys soon moved as their showers didn't work properly. The food was marginal but still quite good. The grounds were quite large which allowed for us to be regular teenagers... more

I stayed at the Maximiliano and Carlota Hotel last January for a week while I was studying Spanish in one of the local schools. It is in an old hacienda with beautiful landscaping and two pools.
