The Rosita is centeraly located for the traveler who wants to go to the city and the beach and not have to go by bus. I found my room to be small but adequate. The double bed was fine, the location great, and if I had had a ocean view it would have been better, but I did not mind... more

I read the reviews prior to staying here and brought ear plugs, lucky for me. They put me in a room where across the side alley is an open top bar/club.... All I heard until late into the night was the thump of the bass and people laughing talking and screaming. If not for my ear plugs I would not... more

We loved Hotel Rosita. We had originally booked two nights only in case we didn't like it. We were given an ocean-view room just as we had booked and although the room decoration was basic, we had a great shower and huge, very comfortable bed. The sound of the waves at night was lovely and lulled us to sleep. When... more

We stayed at the Rosita eight nights at the end of January. Our first room was streetside. The first two nights were week nights and we were able to sleep with earplugs, but the road cruising/party noise was outrageous on Friday and Saturday nights and lasted till near to dawn. We hoped we could deal with the noise following the... more

Rosita hotel is the ideal place to stay in Puerto Vallarta if you like being in the center of things. The hotel is situated on one end of the Malecon boardwalk. You have the ocean on one side and the shops on the other side of the street. It is also on the oceanfront so you can walk along the... more

We are a couple and a teenage boy. As always, we read the trip advisor reviews before booking at the Rosita Hotel. The place is famous because was the Hotel that Richard Burton and the people of the movie "The night of the iguana" stayed here in the late fifties. Maybe the building has not change much since then. The... more

After reading all the reviews about the Rosita, we were pretty nervous checking into our room. Registration was easy, desk personnel were friendly, lobby is large and very comfortable, restaurant was good and reasonably priced, pool was ok but COLD. We even had one of the dreaded "rooms facing the street." With the window closed, noise was not a problem... more

I stayed at the Rosita for four nights and wished that I had stayed somewhere else. After seeing the other options that we had in Puerto Vallarta we would not stay there again. The hotel is very close to the nightlife of the malecon and you can hear all of the noise in your room. Staff was friendly enough. I... more

We stayed one night at Hotel Rosita and we paid way too much for what this hotel offers. There are definately better values in PV. The window in our room faced the busy street and it was very noisy late into the night. PV is a late night town and the music from the clubs up the street could be... more

We stayed at Rosita for two nights on Easter Week, which is a very big holiday in Mexico. Had always thought this hotel looked charming on previous visits. Booked through the website and found when we arrived that the "reasonable" rate was for the street-facing rooms only. The Malecon is the busiest street in Puerto Vallarta, so be aware that... more
