We spent an awesome day hiking the Kipahulu Valley with our guide, Randy. We decided to book the Full Day Hana hike. It was so worth it. First of all, I have to say, not only was Randy a great guide, full of information, answering all of our many questions, but the Hike Maui staff was extremely helpful- BEFORE we... more

We went on a guided hike in the West Maui Mountains with Hike Maui and had a fabulous day. The guide was super informative and fun. We saw some beautiful bamboo groves and got to play in waterfalls. They have different areas they guide and when we go back we hope to use Hike Maui again. more

My husband and I had our honeymoon in Maui beginning of October and one of the activities we signed up for was the East Maui Hike from Hike Maui. I'm telling you, it was the most memorable experience for us. Our guide was Alex (a.k.a. chameleon whisperer) and he was very entertaining and very informative in terms of the flora... more

Randy Michael was a perfect guide and host. I could tell that he really loved to guide, and loved the beauty the Maui had to offer. He was kind, friendly and courteous. My kids enjoyed the hike very much, and Randy made them feel comfortable and welcome. And his suggestion that the Canadian couple touring with to send us photos... more

My husband and I took a Hike Maui morning hike into a rain forest area that was our favorite outing. Our guide, Alex, was fun and very informative about the history of the area, the edible plants, animals, and trees. We went to a waterfall area and he took pictures of each of us that were quite photo worthy and... more

We greatly enjoyed the hiking tour. Tony was our guide and he was super informative and answered all our questions. My sister-in-law actually thought about doing the same tour again the next day! I will be back in Maui in 2010 and will be contacting the company again to see what tours are available. more

We have just returned from a holiday in Hawaii during which we went on a hike with Chris 'Ula Ula' from Hike Maui. The day was well planned out and the level of activity and the experiences we had were perfect. Chris is obviously a very knowledgable passionate guide who thoroughly enjoys his job. He made the day fun and... more

We recently took our honeymoon to Maui (August 2008)- which in and of itself is completely worth it! One of the excursions we chose to do was a hike through Hike Maui. We had already been down the Hana Highway and had originally scheduled the west Maui hike, hoping to get a different taste of the island. Our guide, Randy,... more

This was a top highlight of our Hawaii vacation. Our guide Kristin encouraged us to experience Maui with all our senses: hiking through magnificent forest, swimming in waterfall pools, climbing into secluded spots, touching fruits and flowers. Her extensive knowledge of the land includes much about Maui history. more
